The Admission Authority has now determined (i.e. formally agreed) admission arrangements for September 2021. They have not changed from the previous year and a public consultation has not been required. These arrangements can be found below and relevant policies available for download on the right.
As St Stephen’s is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School, the governors are the Admissions Authority. They comply with the School Admissions Code, a statutory code designed to ensure a fair and straightforward admissions system that promotes equity and fair access for all. An equal preference system is operated.
Children are admitted into St Stephen’s School according to the school’s Admissions Policy.
Applicants who are unsuccessful in gaining a place have the legal right to appeal to the Governing Body. Details concerning how to appeal will be explained in the decision letter.
Prospective parents are very welcome to come and visit the school. Please ring the office on 01225 311665 to make an appointment.
