The PTFA is open to everyone who is or has been a parent, carer or member of teaching staff. We are responsible for the main fundraising activities within the school, organising events that are fundamental to the inclusion and enjoyment of all pupils, teachers, parents and the wider community.
You can find out latest newsletter here.
The PTFA is co-chaired by Krena Patel and Caroline Tobin, they can be reached at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
The school community is amazing at raising funds. We aim to make our fundraising events fun and varied, with something for everyone. We have ongoing fundraisers such as second-hand uniform sales, the Rag Bag textile recycling and the Trading Post. Throughout the school year we organise and run events including the Christmas Fair, Tennis Tournament, Quiz Night, Discos and our Summer Fair.
The school PTFA has signed up to a brilliant new online fundraising method called 'easyfundraising'. Basically, retailers make a donation when you shop with them, particularly online. So you haven't got to do anything other than register an account by following the link below and then whenever you buy something online, go through this website first. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!!

We are always looking for lovely new people to help organise and run events and for new fundraising ideas. If you can help or have a particular talent, we’d love to hear from you!
Our major projects for 2017/2018 were:
Did you know, that every year, before any fundraising has begun, we have many items that are necessarily funded by the PTFA? Items such as:
all of which contribute enormously to supporting the teaching staff and enriching the children’s experience.
2019 will see new LIBRARY PROJECT, an ambitious plan for the benefit of our pupils…
Our existing library, outside the Yr 4 classrooms, is a fantastic resource that is well used and much loved by the children BUT we do not have enough space which affects numbers and title expansion across the board. The school would like to offer a library space that is 3 times what we currently have and it is planned that the ICT Suite will be refurbished and fitted out to transform it into a modern, flexible learning space where our children can enjoy books, relax, be mindful and make use of multi-media learning opportunities.
We would love it if you can help in any way you can…
The PTFA communicates with parents via the weekly Friday newsletter, this website and, from time to time, ParentPay email. There is a PTFA noticeboard next to the school office and we meet regularly at PTA Meetings. Before an event we usually put up lots of posters around school too. We're also on Facebook.
Each class nominates one or more Class Reps who help co-ordinate fundraising activities and social events, working closely with the PTFA.
